Mazes go way back to ancient times. The earliest mazes we know of were monuments built in Egypt about 4000 years ago. The most impressive of these architectural mazes was known as the Egyptian Labyrinth which was a vast palace complex. Today, we still find mazes fascinating and they are excellent educational tools for children. They are a lot of fun and provide them with problem solving skills.
